Tampa Bay Cameraman was recently hired by a Texas-based production firm to shoot a company spot for Manufacturing Marvels. The program highlights American businesses in the manufacturing sector.
We visited Honeycomb in Sarasota, FL which produces components for military and civilian aircraft. This shoot presented some challenges including drone aerial footage within a mile of an active runway (FAA approved). We also were careful not to display sensitive material since the facility produces military products.
While we were entirely responsible for the visuals, the footage was sent to Texas for editing. The production company saved hundreds of dollars by hiring a local videographer to manage the shoot.
