Tampa Bay Cameraman was founded in 2008 by Ryan French as a freelance news video agency, providing breaking news footage to local and national television networks. As the years passed, we have shifted our focus to providing a more diverse multimedia portfolio to Tampa Bay and beyond by serving our residents and businesses.

About The Owner
Hi there, I’m Ryan French, the owner of Tampa Bay Cameraman. I oversee all projects operated by my brand. I have over 17 years of professional experience in various roles in videography, photography, broadcasting, and production. Here’s how it all began…
At an early age I was convinced that I wanted to be involved videography and photography and I’ve always had a camera in my hands. I earned my broadcasting degree from Hillsborough Community College, where with the help of my classmates, started the broadcast club and directed the first live stream of the men’s basketball game.
During my professional career, I’ve freelanced for all of the major television networks, particularly serving in news or sports roles. In addition to my ownership in the Tampa Bay Cameraman brand, I’m currently a staff photojournalist for the leading television news affiliate in Tampa Bay. I truly have a passion for all things videography and photography.
Years ago I started the first incarnation of Tampa Bay Cameraman because I envisioned a different kind of videography and photography brand.
